Well, I dreamed I saw the knights in armour coming,
sayin’ something about a queen.
There were passants singin’ and drummers drummin’
and the archer split the tree.
There’s a fanfare blowin’ to the sun
that was floating on the breeze.
Look at Mother Nature on the run in the nineteen seventies.
Look at Mother Nature on the run in the nineteen seventies.
I was lyin’ in a burned out basement
with the full moon in my eyes.
I was hopin’ for replacement
when the sun burst through the sky.
There was a band playin’ in my head
and I felt like getting high.
I was thinkin’ about what a friend had said I was hopin’ it was a lie.
Thinkin’ about what a friend had said I was hopin’ it was a lie.
Well, I dreamed I saw the silver spaceships flyin’
in the yellow haze of the sun,
there were children cryin’ and colours flyin’
all around the chosen ones
All in a dream, all in a dream the loading had begun.
Flying Mother Nature’s silver seed to a new home in the sun.
Flying Mother Nature’s silver seed to a new home.

A force de prier
Chaque nuit, chaque jour
A force d’implorer
Tous les dieux de l’amour
A force de chanter
Ton nom comme un poème
A force de t’aimer
Il faudra que tu m’aimes
A force de prier
Du profond de mon cœur
Et de désespérer
De trouver le bonheur
Lorsque j’aurai pleuré
Jusqu’au bout de ma peine
A force d’appeler
Il faudra que tu viennes
A force de prier
Et de vivre d’espoir
Le soleil s’est levé
Déchirant le brouillard
Je vais pouvoir chanter, crier
Crier victoire
Il est venu mon tour
Il est venu ce jour
A force de prier
L’amour, l’amour, l’amour

Mouskouri had displayed exceptional musical talent from the age of 6. However her sister, Jenny, initially appeared to be the more gifted of the two. In fact Mouskouri has one vocal cord that is thicker than the other. This unusual condition accounts for her unique voice, both speaking and singing. [VERSE:]
I was a stranger in the city.
Out of town were the people I knew.
I had that feeling of self-pity:
What to do? What to do? What to do?
The outlook was decidedly blue.
But as I walked through the foggy streets alone,
It turned out to be the luckiest day I’ve known
[REFRAIN:]
A foggy day in London Town
Had me low and had me down.
I viewed the morning with alarm.
The British Museum had lost its charm.
How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
But the age of miracles, hadn’t passed,
For, suddenly, I saw you there –
And through foggy London Town
The sun was shining ev’rywhere.

A day in the life of a fool
A sad and a long lonely day
I walk the avenue
And hope I’ll run into
The welcome sight of you
Coming my way
I stop just across from your door
But you’re never home any more
So back to my room
And there in the gloom
I cry tears of good bye
(That’s the way it will be every day,
in the life of fool)
